Why I am doing this blog:

I am a wife and a mother of two kids (more like babies) under the age of two. We recently moved to a new area and didn't know anyone. Just like that, we no longer had babysitters that we trusted and that our kids were comfortable with. On top of that, my husband works 70+ hours a week. So I found myself feeling very alone & smothered by my two year old that had major separation anxiety from the move. Feeling alone and overwhelmed I started getting up before the kids and reading, pondering and praying for strength and guidance. I also kept a journal of the thoughts and inspirations I received during my "me time." As I have talked to other moms I realize that we all struggle and need help at times. I decided to blog about motherhood and finding inner-peace when there is so much commotion and distraction around us. Don't get me wrong, I absolutely love being a mother and feel extremely blessed to have my sweet children. This is not a complaining blog what so ever. It is just the opposite. It is a reminder to me of how blessed I am to be a mother and to be raising our future generation. I love my children and am learning so much from them every day. I hope to have this blog be a place for moms to come and learn, grow and be strengthened by one another. Please feel free to leave comments about blog posts or even some of your own experiences.
